I went shopping with my hubby, and a couple of things I purchased I thought I would review for you.
The first thing is the Victoria’s secret fragrance mist in ‘Love spell’. To start with I want to say the shop is amazing, The range of underwear is huge and the shop is very girly in shades of pink. This is the first Victoria’s secret I have been in with it only just opening up in my area. As much as I liked the lingerie it was the beauty items I was interested in the most.
‘Love spell’ is a combination of cherry blossom and peach, infused with Aloe vera to condition the skin and chamomile to soothe. Imagine a juicy fresh peach and the fruitiest smell you can think of and you will be close to what it smells like. I have to say all the fragrance mists I sampled were lovely but this was my favourite by a mile.
As this is a ‘mist’ and not a perfume I am guessing it won’t have the staying power that a regular perfume would, however I have worn mine for half of the day and I can still smell it. The bottle is quite a generous size being 250ml. I also want to add that the bag you get to take it home in is gorgeous, full of tissue paper, and you feel very spoilt.
My second purchase was the Rimmel colour rush lip balm. I have the shade ‘710 drive me nude’. When I swatched this in the shop and by looking at the tube I knew that if the colour was true I would love this, as I prefer a nude lip. I have to say it does not disappoint. The colour is lovely. See swatch below for more of an idea.
The colour pay off is sheer but good, and on the lips it feels creamy. I will wear it more and see how long it lasts before I have to reapply,as it does say it is ‘Long lasting’. The vanilla smell is very nice and not too strong. This is a new product and so the colour range is not huge yet, with around 7 shades to choose from.
That’s it for now. Leave a comment, and let me know what you have been buying.
