Bargain Product 5

Face and Body April 2, 2015 Naomi

I have not actually done a Bargain post in ages but I found a lovely Bubble bath that was a bit of a steal so I wanted to talk to you about it.

If you are anything like me you will love a good bubble bath. If you come home after a crappy day there is nothing nicer than relaxing for an hour in a bath full of bubbles. When I was little I loved matey, do they even still make that? then I discovered Radox around aged 10, after that it was Lush bubble bars{still a massive fan of those} and later still it was high end products like my beloved Elemis.

I am a single mum so for me Elemis is not always an option, I wanted a product that acted high end without the huge price tag. This leads me on to my new find…..

Global Escape is an M&S range that includes bath products, a candle and a reed diffuser. It comes in a choice of Oriental cherry blossom or Moroccan bitter orange. I went for the orange simply because I love citrus scents. Now I will say this is not a huge hit of zest, it also contains the scent of white flowers and that adds a floral, sweet note, I love the scent, it is very pretty.

The bottle itself is a whopping 500ml, not bad for the ยฃ4.50 I paid for it, technically mine was free as I had a gift voucher, even better!. It lasts for ages, I have used mine a lot and not even made a dent. It produces lots of bubbles and a little goes a long way.

It tells us on the bottle it contains Argan oil, a hot ingredient right now in the beauty trade. Not too sure how much Argan is in there but I will say it leaves the skin really silky soft. Not bad for a more affordable product, a lot of which seem to strip the skin of moisture.

This is a product that looks and feels much more luxurious than it probably is and for that reason I will definitely be re-purchasing. It is also Paraben free.

Have you got a favourite Bubble bath?? leave a comment….

I’m a sucker for spending a fortune on bubble baths – The Champneys ones are personal favourites. It drives my OH up the wall when I come home from Boots laden with expensive bath products though haha. Might have to invest in some of this, it looks quite similar to the one I usually buy but it half the price.

This sounds lovely! I really struggle to find bath products that are SLS-free – then again, I don’t have a bath so it’s not too much of an issue for me ;D
