Sorry that is a whole lot of B’s and if you don’t know their meaning it looks a bit like some mad code! It actually stands for the British Beauty Blogger Box number 4 and if you love your products as much as me it will need no explanation.
The Latest collection, and rumoured to be the last from Jane or the British Beauty Blogger, is yet again a collaboration with Latest in Beauty, and like the boxes before it not only is it excellent value it is also full of fabulous stuff!.
I got mine a few days ago so this will not be an indepth review more of a first Impressions..
What’s in the box?? Well let’s start with the Bare Minerals lipstick in ‘Raise The Bar’. I have to say when I first saw this I thought it would be way too dark for my pale skintone but I have been pleasantly surprised! The colour is a pink, nude, plum, hybrid that looks really good on and the formulation is very long lasting. I also love how it is minty yet also smells sweet.
The L’Oreal Telescopic mascara I was very keen to try. It is a weird brush, very thin but it works well at packing it on and the colour is the blackest black. Very impressed. Next up I tried the Speedy blush from Collection. This being a cheaper product I was worried it would be rubbish, but it leaves a nice sheen to the cheek and the ‘tickled pink’ colour I got was perfect for me. Also love it is in stick form, great for in your bag.
Last of the makeup items is a contour brush, not a very exciting product but useful to have, by some luck I did need a new bronzer brush so this will be perfect.
Shampoo and conditioner is covered by the cult brand KMS California. I have read great things about the Moist repair line and so was keen to try them out. Both smell gorgeous, vanilla and sweet. Ideal for Dry hair it leaves it like silk and is a fab little de-tangler. The shampoo left my hair feeling lovely, even without the conditioner!.
The Crabtree and Evelyn hand cream I have used before, I do like it just not as much as my L’occitane shea butter one, but it is still very good at keeping hands soft, and is a generous 50g size. Which brings me on to the L’occitane almond shower oil, the smell is just gorgeous!! This is already a favourite of mine and has featured on the Blog before so I was delighted to see it in the box.
Beauty bloggers are unanimous in their love of Nuxe, such a great little Brand. The prodigieux eye cream is hydrating and works on dark circles, I have only used this once so will reserve judgment but I do usually find Nuxe products to be amazing.
On to some winter saviours.. The Love me wonder balm is a multi purpose product you can use on dry lips and cuticles. It smells a little herbally but I don’t mind that. It’s very waxy but melts as you work with it. I love this dinky little tin and will use this up over the colder months. The Dr Rescue cuticle balm is another similar product and again the small size makes it great for your bag or popping in your pocket to take out with you.
Soap and Glory never disappoint and so the Righteous butter body moisturizer was a nice little pot to include. It has the traditional Soap and Glory smell and is very thick and luxurious. The Ren cleansing milk I found to work well but I don’t like the smell! I will use it up though. The last product is the Erborian CC cream. This is a fabulous little product. It comes out white but blends to your natural skintone and gives a glowy, luminous finish. Not as much coverage as a foundation but great if your skin is behaving or can be worn under your own foundation. A little goes a long way.
I love this box, the products are all great for this time of year and all the none makeup is full of good ingredients to add hydration. There was a perfume sample in the box but I hated the smell! Personal choice, and I am sure some of you will love it. It was the Shay and Blue framboise Noir.
The value of the box is £106.20 but I got mine from Latest in Beauty for £21.95,fabulous value.
