Beauty Basket updated

Chit chat May 2, 2014 Naomi

I originally blogged about my beauty basket, {which for those of you that don’t know is the basket by my bed that i keep all my fave products in}, back in October and i will link that post here. I have had a little sort out since then and a few new products have sneaked in there, so i thought i would give you all a little update.

Michael Todd skin loving wipes. Currently two packs are in the basket. These are my go to wipes when i am wanting a quick cleanse before a bath or after a hard day at work. I love these wipes, made from all natural ingredients with no parabens, they quickly remove all makeup, refresh the skin and don’t sting the eyes. They also smell of cucumber which i personally like a lot.

Bamboo 48 hr volume spray. This is a great product for thin flyaway hair {mine} Again free of parabnes and synthetics it boosts the hair volume and leaves it soft. I spray it onto towel dried hair and then blow dry. Hair is visibly thicker and looks great!.

L’oreal revitalift for eyes. I purchased this by mistake as i was looking for face cream for my mum and got this instead! realising my mistake at home,i went back and got mum the cream she wanted and i kept this, and i am very glad i did bacause this is a fab little wrinkle cream that smoothes out and softens the fine lines around the eyes and leaves that area looking so much better.

Michael Todd clay mask. A lifesaver for oily skin. i put this on when my skin is misbehaving{most of the time} and it works wonders on drying up excess oil, clearing up spots, eliminating blackheads and making the skin look brighter. A fab mask i will be repurchasing.

Bio oil. I HATE my stretchmarks with a passion and try anything to soften them. I have been applying the Bio oil for a few days now so i think it is a bit early to say if it works, but i have high hopes. It smells good and lasts a long time.

Sanctuary intensive heel balm. I dislike feet enormously, i think they are so ugly!! I also hate dry, scabby feet so i have been religiously applying this foot balm in the hopes that when it is sandals weather i will have presentable feet. On the plus side it seems to work well and my feet look better. It is thick but soaks in well.

Caudalie divine oil. I have blogged about this in my last post so all i will say is buy it, it smells amazing and leaves your skin soft!!.

Leave me a comment and let me know what products you are liking right now..

I must confess to using body creams on my feet but must invest in a proper foot cream. I had a little foot shape scrub in my box of Lush, a lovely Christmas gift from my other half. It worked well, the downside was keeping it by the bath as it crumbled each time it got wet. Also it didn’t last long enough 🙁

I’d love to know if you think Bio oil works later on once you have tried it for a while- I would try it- but am a bit sceptical as to its claims! I like the idea of a beauty basket as I have so many products! x
