OMG these are the most beautiful nail polishes I have ever owned. Regulars to the blog will know that I am very partial to a glitter polish and they are certainly one of the nicer ones. On the nails they look stunning and catch the light in a very pretty way.
Butter London Polishes are free from Formaldehyde, DBP or toluene which are chemical nasties that no one wants to wear on their fingertips. I am a massive lover of how well these polishes go on, the application is flawless and this one is no exception. One coat looks amazing but for me I like to pack it on and have a big pop of colour.
On the nails the colour is bright and I have had a lot of compliments when I have been wearing either. The glitter is fine but dense and though the West end Wonderland is gold it has silver and red tones also. The Rosie Lee is a beautiful pink colour with silver shimmer to it.I can definitely see me wearing either one a lot and colour wise they are the best of my collection.
Now to the Negative. Lasting power is not very good, I find glitter polish to be good ordinarily but this one is not for some reason, I found that even after a day or two it started to chip and fade, I will say that this is minus a top coat, because most of the time I can’t be bothered to apply it!. The brush is thin and some people I know prefer a chunky brush but I am not bothered either way.
Be warned Fellow Beauty lovers, glitter polish is a absolute nightmare to remove and this is no exception. I find soaking the nails first in the remover seems to help but you will still be swearing at the end. Is it worth it?? well yes maybe, the colour is just so fab, I give it 10/10 for colour but 4/10 for lasting power. It really lets the polish down.
Butter London polishes retail for £12, not the cheapest polish in the universe!
