I am a massive fan of my Urban Decay Naked palette and I will reach for it nearly every day when I am doing my makeup, but I am also a cream eye shadow fan and I love how easy they are to apply. I just use my fingers and apply them that way, no fuss and quick and easy. Today I am going to talk about the Maybelline colour tattoo 24hr eye shadow in ‘on and on bronze’.
I purchased this colour because it is so versatile, it is a shiny bronzey brown that I think would suit most people. I always gravitate towards brown and taupe eye shadows ,with my blue eyes I think they suit me the best. The packaging reminds me very much of a Mac paint pot, of which I am also a big fan, but they are like all Mac make up quite expensive and I think that the Maybelline one is a good enough dupe.
Maybelline tell us they are smudge and crease free and I find when they are on they are not going anywhere. They are super long lasting. 24hrs?? who the hell wears eye make up day and night. I certainly don’t sleep in mine, and I have yet to be up 24hrs straight so I will not verify that one.
The colour choice is very good with lots to choose from. I am also a fan of how pigmented they are. I only apply a small amount for it to look vibrant on the lid. Going on the eye they feel smooth and creamy and then dry to a beautiful sheen. They definitely look and feel more high end than they actually are.
I have added a swatch above so you can see the colour for yourself. They currently are available in Boots for £4.99. Bargain! The little pot will last forever.
Will I buy more?? yes I will . I am wanting to try the permanent Taupe shade next. They are great value for the price and will last you all day with no touch ups.
