January Favourites

Chit chat February 4, 2014 Naomi

Favourites time again and this time it was easy to pick from. I have been using a select group of products every day and so they naturally made it on to my list. I have also been loving my Mac products that I blogged about in a previous post, if you have not read it yet you can find it here, but as I have talked about them already I left them out this time.

Michael Todd skin loving face wipes. I got these free with a purchase and I have to say they are brilliant. They clean the skin really well without drying it out, and the smell of the Aloe and cucumber which are two of the active ingredients is really fresh. I use these every day and then follow up with my second fave…..

Michael Todd charcoal detox gel cleanser. Can you tell I am a Michael Todd fan yet?? This cleanser gets all of the makeup and grime off your skin but leaves it comfortable and looking vibrant. Made for oily skin it helps with spots and imperfections and yet respects the skins natural barrier so you are not left with a tight stripped face. All the products in the line are natural and contain organic and chemical free ingredients.

Revlon lip butter in crème brulee.  A beautiful peachy nude that looks good on anyone. Regular readers of my blog will know I never stop blabbing on about my love for the lip butters, the shine, the moisture, the creamy consistency!!, If you have never tried them go now and pick one up, they are brilliant, and I have been wearing this one almost daily in January.

Vichy serum for eyes and lashes.  Another wonderful product. I put this on every night religiously and I have seen a marked difference in the crinkles{wrinkles to normal people} around my eyes. The serum is packed with Rhamose for complete hydration of the eye area, plus illuminators for a radiance and brightening effect. As this is also for lashes you rub it all over the eye area and it plumps up and strengthens the lashes as well, what a great little product!

Redermic from La Roche-posay.  This is a anti ageing product designed to target wrinkles and hyper pigmentation. Containing Retinol and Lipo Hydroxy acid they increase cell turnover and exfoliation and leave you with a brighter, fresher skin. I suffered from acne in my teens and still get the odd hormonal spot on my chin. Any nasty mark left behind is faded considerably and I have noticed a huge difference in my hyper pigmentation. Wrinkles are most definitely reduced and my skin is soft. I apply this at night and wake up to lovely skin in the morning. This is a 10/10 product for me and one I highly recommend. At £29 it is well worth investing in.

For none beauty favourites I have been loving my Berocca tropical vitamins. Berocca for those who don’t know are effervescent tablets that dissolve in water to deliver vitamins and energy. I had not tried these until January and now I am hooked. The tropical ones taste great and I really do believe they give me a boost. I took these during a particularly nasty cold and they helped me get through the day at work with lots of rowdy children, when my energy levels started to dip.

Leave me a comment, I reply to every one…

I love Michael Todd products, I think because you have to ship them in from the U.S they are not so popular over here and not a lot of bloggers seem to have tried them.x
