July Favourites

Chit chat August 11, 2014 Naomi

July is over{Well over, I know I’m late with this post!!} and It is time for me to go over all the products I have been loving and using that month. Yet again it has been hard for me to narrow it down but here goes….

1. Caudalie divine oil  No surprise here to regular blog readers, my all time favourite dry oil, it comes into its own in summer when you want skin to be hydrated, but like the look of a lovely sheen. This is the only dry oil you will ever need, the smell is out of this world!!.

2. Garden frog.  Ok not a beauty item but I love this little frog I bought in the Next sale, I am not usually a fan of garden type ornaments but I thought this was so cute! and I paid half price for him too.

3.Barry M Hi shine in guava. Why guava I don’t know, they are not blue?? but name aside this is my favourite summer polish. Actually bought for me by my daughter, at first I was unsure, I hate the colour green, in make up especially! and this has green tones to it {though it looks all blue in the pic!}, but the blue tones won me over and now I wear it all the time, it looks especially good on the toes.

4. Bourjois cc cream. Amazing stuff! if you want a heavy coverage then look elsewhere, but if your skin is behaving and you are spot free this is the CC cream for you, banishes redness, anti fatigue and hydrates for 24 hours. I wear this everyday in the summer months. See pic below.

5. Benefit it’s potent eye cream. Only a tiny pot but it is lasting ages, this little miracle worker is super hydrating and fades the dark circles under your eyes, I pop this on morning and night and it is my all time favourite eye cream.

6. Garnier ultimate blends shampoo The sleek restorer, And I have found that it really does live up to the hype, another fab smelling product, who doesn’t like coconut?? It leaves my hair soft and tames any flyaways, I have fine hair and it does not weigh it down. I also love the matching conditioner that goes with it.

Guava is such a pretty shade, although I have to agree it’s a weird choice of name for a blue polish… How bizarre!!
