Beauty boxes are everywhere now and though I do love a good box of surprises invariably you end up with a few dud products that you will never use or are not suitable for your skin, hair etc. This is were the beauty box of choice is such a winner, pick your own products so you know exactly what you are getting and hopefully every product is a winner.
Latest In Beauty offer a subscription service that allows you to choose between 3,6 or 9 products every month postage free, or if you don’t want to commit you can go for the one off payment like me and just pick your products once. There are a lot of products to choose from with new ones being available every month. Here’s then what I chose…
Givenchy lipstick in rose dressing.
What can I say about this lipstick?? Love,Love, Love it!! It glides on the lips, is creamy, the colour payoff is amazing, and the colour is to die for. This is my new favourite colour and to say I was a nude lip kind of girl before is testament to how much I adore it. I have been wearing this colour literally every day since I got it. Definite re-purchase and the mini size is generous.[top colour]
MUA lipstick in Rocket
Another beautiful colour, this one is more of a hot pink and again it has some amazing colour pay-off. Not as creamy or moisturising as the Givenchy one; you can tell it is a lot cheaper but for a throw in your bag pretty pop of colour it does the job nicely. [Bottom colour]
Madame LA LA bronzer
This is a cream bronzer in handy pot, the colour is lovely but I will say it is a little waxy so needs some blending, once on the cheeks it lasts and is also good as a highlighter.
Rituals under a fig tree diffuser
I have had two of these before and this is hands down my favourite diffuser. Now I know you can pick up a diffuser for a few pounds but the higher end ones are hands down much better, the scent is less synthetic, and the perfume is always stronger. The smell of this is just amazing.
Philip Kingsley shampoo and conditioner in moisture boost
Perfect for this time of year, my hair is always a little dryer in the winter months and as I torture it daily with straightners and dye it on a regular basis it does need a little TLC from time to time. Philip Kingsley is a master of hair and this little duo are great to leave your hair soft and shiny.
Elemis energizing scrub
Technically this is a men’s product but I adore the smell and the rough consistency of this, If you like your scrubs on the grainy side then this will be right up your street, just go gently and bough into et skin, a little goes a long way and it left my face silky smooth. Can also be used on the legs before shaving.
Nude rescue oil
This is a fabulous little oil I use at night before bed. Packed with Vitamins and omega 3 and 6 this is great for moisturising and refining your skin and again is another fabulous smelling product. The oil sinks in like a dream and is very lightweight, it comes in a handy pump and I have use dit for over a week now with no breakouts. Another product I will definitely re-purchase.
Exuviance face mask
This is for spot prone skin and is full of purifying clays, I have combination skin but I still do get time of the month spots so I am saving this little tube for that time. Will get back to you when I have tried it but you can read a review on the Latest in Beauty website.
Molton Brown hand wash
To me this smells like Lynx!! My daughter hates it, I love it and it’s red my favourite colour! A generous size for a hand wash mini it is very good at not stripping the hands. Molton Brown is again a high end skincare line I have used before and I love the quality of their ingredients.
Lastly I was sent a free hand gel, a nice little extra that I do use and this has gone in my work bag. Smells like watermelon and is very nice!
