You really can’t beat a latest in beauty box, I love their little collections and I have to stop myself from ordering every one! The value for money is always brilliant and the products inside are good and of a high quality.
I have had this particular box for awhile now as I wanted to test each product out thoroughly, here then are my thoughts and opinions on the contents…
First up is the Dove youthful vitality shampoo and conditioner, I love the little mini size, just perfect for travel and as I am off to Center parcs in a few weeks time I will be popping them in my swim bag. Targeted at ageing hair these are packed full of nutrients to replenish hair that has lost its sparkle and looks dull and dry. I am very hard to please with haircare but I do like these a lot and the fragrance is lovely! left my hair super soft.
Next up is the Nails inc gel effect polish in Hyde park place. Not blown away by this I will say, I do love Nails Inc ordinarily but I did not find this anything special and it did not last long either before it chipped, for £15 per polish I was hoping for greatness!! Nice colour though, a soft grey that looks nice on the nails.
Kneipp Herbal bath I have tried before and I do like them This one is the Devil’s claw formula for aching muscles. You will either love or hate the smell, it is very cold remedy and medicinal, I personally like it. I used it after yoga and it was very soothing.
Green people sun lotion. This is a low SPF at 15 so not great for very hot sun but it is organic and I will use it up.
Bare Minerals Complexion rescue. This is a tinted gel cream for the face, you get two shades to try and the darkest one Natural 05 is way to dark for me, but I do like the formulation and the way it blends so easily, not sure if I would buy the full size though.
Philosophy cleanser. I have had this before and I love it, really fab at removing all traces of makeup and leaves the skin super soft and clean, smells a bit dodgy to me but that is personal taste.
Wild about beauty eyeshadow. Really love this, organic brand that delivers good quality products. The little bee embossed on it is so cute! I got the shade 06 Alana that is a pretty chocolate brown. I have used this a lot and will be buying more. Contains Aloe vera and vitamins, all good stuff!.
Balance me radiance mask. A little bit on the fence with this one, did not blow me away but did leave my skin soft and moisturised, I am sure there are better masks out there but I will use it all up.
Eau de cloitre rose and berry hand cream. Regular Blog readers will know I hate rose scented products but thankfully this is more berry scented and fruity. Great little handbag size, I take this to work and it does leave my hands very soft.
Skyn Iceland gel eye patches. Love them I want more. So cooling and refreshing on the eye area, I did see a vast improvement in my little fine lines and the eyes looked plumper and fresher. Feels a bit weird when you first apply, a little slimy, but great for a hangover face!.
Amie light moisturiser. Not the most hydrating cream in the universe but it does say light so not expecting miracles. I use this in the day before makeup and it sinks in well with no greasy residue. Full of skin friendly natural extracts it can’t however be used on the eye area.
Heart shaped expanding flannel. Very cute, expands in water, only makes a small cloth I will say, but it is pink and I will use it for removing cleanser.
Lastly Idealia serum by Vichy. Again I have used this before, nice little serum that I pop on at night for an added little moisture boost.
All in All a gorgeous little box well worth the £15 price tag for over £70 worth of products. I have found some real little gems, my faves being the bath oil and the hand cream, plus the beautiful eyeshadow and the gel eye patches.
