It has been awhile since I wrote a Hair post, mostly because I am so damn fussy about shampoo and I never find one that I like enough to stick with. I have to say I am still on the hunt for my holy grail hair products, but the shampoo and conditioner I am going to talk about today are pretty good.
The Elvive Fibrology range has been designed for people with fine, limp hair, sadly I fall into this category. It works by using filloxane molecules that penetrate the hair shaft and thicken it from the inside. According to the bottle it stays in the hair shaft and improves after each wash, so the theory is if you keep using it the better your hair will be.
The bottles are a whopping 400ml, and given the fact I got mine for half price at £1.99 from good old Mr Tesco, you can see that it works out at amazing value for money. The massive bottles should last me for ages. I will also add I really like the fragrance, it is your standard nondescript floral smell, but it smells really nice to me.
Does it work?? yes it does. I found my hair was definitely thicker and more bouncy after the first wash, I usually achieve this with the help of a thickening spray but none was needed this time. I loved how much extra volume I had got. I will say that my daughter has much longer hair than me and on her it was much more noticeable after she had used it.
I did not find my hair was weighed down with product, and I also found it did not strip my hair either, great all around. I am very impressed with the Fibrology range, I may also try the serum that goes with it too. The price for how well it works is great, and the huge bottles are a massive plus.
Only time will tell if my hair gets better with each use, but I am living in hope.
