I was kindly contacted by Maple Holistics and asked if I would review a couple of their products. Maple Holistics are an all natural range of beauty products containing the finest grade ingredients and do not contain Parabens, synthetic chemicals, and sulfates. Regular Blog readers will know I always lean more towards the organic and cleaner products, and so they sounded like the sort of thing I would enjoy using.
The products that were sent to me included the Argan shampoo, the silk 18 conditioner and the Vitamin C serum, and I will review each product in turn.
First up the shampoo. What can I say about the smell?? Amazing!! If you like vanilla then this will be right up your street, it is sweet and reminds me of Lush products. Sulfate free shampoo is notorious for not lathering, and some say they don’t clean as well, but you will be pleased to know this not only lathers up like a dream it cleans really well too, my hair was squeaky clean afterwards.
Ingredients include Argan oil which we all know is hot right now and avocado, peach kernel, almond and Jojoba. All wonderfully moisturising and gentle.
Next up is the conditioner. Again the same lovely vanilla fragrance but this time much stronger. It contains Botanical Keratin for stronger, healthier hair and silk amino acids to condition and restore moisture. I left mine in for a few minutes and then rinsed and it left me with soft, silky hair. I am very impressed with both the shampoo and conditioner and would be happy to try more from the range.
Lastly I will talk about the vitamin C serum. Vitamin C is used to add vitality to a dull complexion. The other natural ingredients in this include Hyaluronic acid for moisture, and aloe vera plus vitamins A and E. I have been using this for over a week now and though I love how it sinks in straight away, is not tacky, and is good at leaving my skin soft, I have not been blown away by it. My skin does not look that much better if I’m honest, so as serums go it is just ok, not fabulous, though it is hydrating.
First impressions of Maple Holistics?? Really impressed and I especially love the conditioner! If you want to take a look at the product range for yourself then click here. At the moment they have a promotion on where you can pick a product for free and review it for them. I will link that here.
