Naked 3 Palette

Makeup November 11, 2014 Naomi

I am finally back to blogging after a few weeks off and I really did miss it!! my computer is older than me and held together with sellotape and so a few weeks back it decided to die on me, but all is well now and I can get back to some serious blogging. So what’s been happening?? well………….

Oh Dear it happened, I caved to the lure of another beautiful product. After writing a good few posts back that I did not need the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, as I was quite happy with 1 ,I read a few fellow bloggers reviews, looked at some swatches, and that was that I was hooked. I immediately hot footed it over to Feel unique and put in my online order, and I have to say I have not regretted it since, the palette is so pretty and I love all the shades!!.

I am pretty sure most of you are familiar with the’ 3 ‘as I will call it but for the purpose of the blog post I will assume you know nothing. The ‘3’ comes in a lovely rose gold tin, it is much sturdier than the 1 which I also have, and I have to say I like the 3 much more. Inside are 12 gorgeous rose gold inspired eyeshadows. As with all Urban Decay eyeshadows the quality is very high, the dual ended synthetic brush is also good quality, weighty in your hand it feels high end.

As with the previous palettes it has a large mirror on the top, I don’t honestly use this very much, it is large enough to apply your shadows but I tend to use this palette at home so I use my much larger wall mirror, or the magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

The eyeshadows themselves range from the very light ‘strange’ to the very dark blackheart{not actually black, more dark, dark brown}. Split into a selection of matte and glitter shades it offers a good choice, from everyday nudes to going out more dramatic colours. My faves are ‘Mugshot’,’ Liar ‘,and ‘Dust’ all pinky peach colours that I think suit my blue eyes and cool tone skin.

If you love pinky neutrals than this is the palette for you. Personally I love pink, peach, and brown shades so I knew I would use this a lot before I even purchased it. my beloved 1 palette is now put away for my daughter to use, and I am going to be mainly using this on an everyday basis, so I know I will get my money’s worth.

My Palette came with four samples of the Urban Decay primer potion, I have tried them before and they are really good so I will use them up eventually.

What do you think to the Naked palettes? are they worth the hype?? Leave a comment and your blog links

As I personally don’t wear eyeshadow I wasn’t really drawn into the hype, although it has to be said that the colours and packaging are amazing so can completely understand why there’s been so much love for it! x

I like the Naked 3 a lot. I just tend to forget about it for some reason and gravitate towards my lorac pro palettes

I haven’t tried any of the Naked palettes. I have no idea why, but I’m not that drawn to them at all. MakeUp Geek is my obsession 🙂

Yes they are not for everyone, my friend prefers bright colours and she finds the palettes boring Zerina.x
