November Favourites

Chit chat December 1, 2014 Naomi

I have not written a Favourites post in awhile and has I have quite a few products I have been loving of late I thought now would be a good time to do one. This is what I have been loving In the month of November…..

My Christmas Tree.  I Love my Christmas Tree and yes it is up and decorated in November. I am a big fan of real trees but as I am a single mum I thought it a bit wasteful to buy a new tree every year, so I invested in a artificial tree that I really took a shine too. Mine is the 6 foot snowy pine and you can get them from Next, Tesco do them and also Amazon. I was told it would come in December but it came early so my daughter and I decorated it there and then, and I think it is wonderful. I am determined to have the best all girl xmas ever!!.

Maybelline The Rocket Masacra. This one is a bit of a re-discovery for me. I first used the Rocket ages ago, forgot about it, and then moved on to other mascaras, but I am done with cheating on the Rocket, I love everything about it, it never smudges on me, it goes on without clumps and it looks amazing.

Scrub your nose in it. This is a Soap and Glory Face scrub/mask hybrid. I like a product that does more than one thing, you feel like you are getting your money’s worth. You basically apply this to a wet face, leave for a few minutes and let it purify and detox your skin. I have an oily T zone so this is the area I concentrate on, I am not sure this scrub would be good for those with a dry skin. It leaves you with a fresh, clean and less shiny face, what’s not to like.

Burt’s bees milk and shea body wash.  Now for starters I will say I am not a massive fan of the smell of this, it reminds me a little bit of sun tan lotion. Smell aside it is a really nourishing and moisturising shower cream. I have been alternating using this and my Sbc gel which I mentioned in my previous Blog post. This one is fab for super dry skin and it is 98.5% Natural.

Naked 3 Palette. Another thing I have Blogged about before so go back if you want a more detailed review. I have used this palette everyday since I purchased it. The colours are beautiful and the Urban Decay eye shadows are very high quality.

This works pillow spray and deep sleep roller ball. I have the minis of these and I will be buying the full sizes in future. Both of these products are designed to calm you and relax you before sleep. The roller ball you apply to your wrists and inhale the aroma of Lavender and Frankincense both of which are soothing and help to de-stress. The pillow spray works in the same way but you spray it onto your bedding and breathe it in as you sleep. I have to say I find both to be brilliant and I cannot rave about them enough.

Haha, love the name “scrub your nose in it” I have very dry skin, so it might not be best for me, but I’m tempted.

I love reading through favourites posts 🙂 One of my New Year resolutions is to post them each month as I have never done them before!

The UD Naked 3 is one of my all time favourite palettes, I just love all of the rosy and rose gold shades.
