October Favourites

Chit chat November 8, 2013 Naomi

Now that November is here I thought I would talk about all the products/Things I have been loving in the month of October.

Soap and Glory glad hair day This conditioner smells so good with the typical soap and Glory fragrance. I have a small tube of this and I have used it a lot lately so I am almost out. It detangles, leaves hair soft and does not weigh it down. This is not the best conditioner in the world but I have been enjoying using it.

Johnson’s dreamy skin My mum got me this because it was £1 at our local chemist! I was not expecting great things for that price but I have been pleasantly surprised. It smells lovely and is formulated to use last thing at night to help you sleep. It also contains oils for dry skin and vitamins. Not sure if It helps me sleep but it does smell relaxing, produces a nice amount of bubbles, and does not dry out my skin.

Balmi lip balm This came in the Boots advent calendar that I opened earlier!! It is mint flavoured and does a good job of hydrating the lips. The downside is it is very greasy and if you put loads on it feels like an oil slick on your mouth. I use it sparingly at night and it works well, I wake up with soft, hydrated lips in the morning.

Michael Todd pumpkin facial mask Omg this mask is amazing!! I love all my Michael Todd products and I wrote an earlier blog post about them that I will link here. This mask smells of fresh pumpkin and turns your face bright orange! it contains minerals, vitamins and glycolic acids to revitalize and rejuvenate the skin. On a par with my beloved Elemis gel mask this is a great little product that leaves my skin clear and soft. Paraben free and using Organic ingredients, I  recommend this to everybody.

Nude lipsticks I don’t change my lipsticks to match the season, I also don’t follow the latest makeup trends. I love a nude lip, and this is what I stick to.{most of the time, see previous post!} My fave this October has been the Rimmel ‘lasting finish lipstick in nude pink’. I have also been wearing the Revlon Lip butter in ‘sugar frosting’. This is a beautiful, light, baby pink colour and looks so pretty on the lips.

Purdey’s multivitamin fruit drink I am addicted to this!! It is a mix of fruit juices, sparkling water, and Siberian Ginseng. It is supposed to give you a lift like an energy drink would but without all the chemicals and sugar. Not sure about the lift but I do always enjoy drinking it, and I have convinced myself it is doing me good.

Nutella  Not a great deal I can say to defend this choice. Nutella I  am sure is as addictive as smoking because I cannot stop eating it. A mix of chocolate and hazlenuts it reminds me of Kinder Bueno which I also love. Not healthy or good for me, but I like it!.

Bit of a mixed bag there, what products/Things have you been loving in October. Leave me a comment….
