Palmers firming body butter

Face and Body August 18, 2014 Naomi

As part of my look better for summer thing that goes alongside me giving my cellulite the boot, I have been trying out yet more firming body products containing the magical Q10. Ok it may not be magic but it does do good things to your skin. Today I will be talking about the Palmers firming body butter.

I am a massive fan of the Palmers cocoa butter products, the fragrance is so good, sort of cakey and vanilla if that makes any sense. I already use the Palmers oil and the body butter so I thought I would give this one a whirl, and I am happy to say I love it just as much as the others.

Light for a body butter it sinks in like a dream and it leaves a lovely sheen behind, it is also very moisturising, I have mentioned before that the skin on my legs is as dry as the Sahara and this stops them from feeling tight and itchy. Firmness is not out of this world I have to say but then it is only a cream and not a miracle worker, I will say though my skin looks so much better than it did before.

Full of cocoa butter, vitamin E, shea butter and collagen these are all super hydrating to thirsty skin. I apply this in a morning before I get dressed and again after a bath, the scent is so comforting and it lingers on your skin for hours afterwards. I love how it comes with the pump dispenser because it makes it so easy to just pump some out and apply, no fussing about with lids.

The Q1o stimulates the skin to give a more toned appearance and it is now popping up in products all over the place. I mainly use this butter on my legs and arms, plus my stomach and I leave my thighs free to use the Nivea cellulite gel that I reviewed in an earlier post.

Just a quick update as promised on the Nivea gel ,I have now used up all of the tube and though my cellulite is still there {as I thought} it does look much better and the skin looks more toned.

Sounds like a lovely product, I’ve never tried any of the Palmers range before so I think I might have to try and change that!
