Sexy Mother Pucker

Makeup October 28, 2013 Naomi

For starters you have to love the name of these glosses!. The sexy Mother Pucker or S.M.P, because let’s face it it’s shorter and easier to type, is a lip gloss made by Soap and Glory.

Made with lip plumping technology which Soap and Glory refer to as ‘lipswell and superfill’ the S.M.P is a ultra shiny lip product made to plump up and fill the lip to make it look more pouty. I will say right of the bat that these are very, very tacky and if that is not your thing then avoid. I can live with it because it looks so nice on the lip, but I would think twice about wearing it on a windy day with my hair all over the place.

The colour I have is ‘Candy gloss’ a peachy pink with tiny specks of glitter. I prefer a nude lip and it is very sheer colour wise. Because of the lip plumping mentioned earlier when you first apply it you will feel a tingling sensation, this is normal and not uncomfortable. The gloss is very shiny, in fact this is the shiniest lip product I own. The lasting power I have found is very good and should see you through a good couple of hours.

Did I end up with bigger, fuller lips?? I will say they did look better, more plump and soft but not really bigger. The main thing for me is the glossiness, it just looks so good. I am definitely interested now in trying out the other shades in the line.

The Taste and smell is vanilla and reminds me of Palmers cocoa butter so no problem there. It comes with a doe foot applicator which I prefer over a brush.

I got mine from Boots and it was on offer { because I love a bargain} but ordinarily it retails for £9.

How do you rate the S.M.P.?? is it worth the price tag?…Leave a comment.

I actually purchased this a couple of weeks ago and it has just sat on my shelf collecting dust. I guess since I already have big pouty lips to begin with it didn’t do much to them. It did make them tingle and I really like the colour but I found that it was very sticky and very glossy on my lips. My hair got “stuck” in the gloss and left it greasy so I don’t think this product was suited for me.

Really like your blog 🙂 If you have a chance please check out my blog at and follow if you’re interested xx

I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like
yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all web owners and bloggers
made good content as you did, the internet will be a lot more useful than ever
