Tata Harper why are you so bloody expensive????

Face and Body February 22, 2016 Naomi

Well it happened again. Those of you who read my last post will know I’m a sucker for high-end skin care and makeup. So it will come as no surprise to you that I have found yet another luxury brand that I love.{warning this post is very wordy}.

For those in the know Tata Harper is an all natural 100% organic skin care line from Vermont. I am a massive organic fan and so this line was just perfect for me. Caroline Hirons the fab and all knowing beauty guru raves about the line, as do many other Youtube and beauty peeps, plus celebs. The aim of the kit I tried out is anti- ageing, as I’ve said before I am a mature blogger and so wrinkles are a concern of mine. This kit is a bit of a marvel if I’m honest, and I can clearly understand all the hype.

Now for the Negatives. First up the title with the word ‘bloody’ in will give you a clue. Each of the Tata products are eye wateringly expensive, the serum alone in this kit is priced at £80, yes that’s right £80!. Is it good?? you bet it is, I would eat beans on toast for a month just to buy more{but the Teen would kill me}, so I probably won’t.

Personal choice up next. I absolutely hate the lurid green colour of the bottles, not important I know it is only packaging but why is the colour so vile?? Yes I get it natural and green but still.

On to the kit itself. I have the Daily essentials kit that includes mini trial sizes of the cleanser, moisturiser, serum, mask, eye cream, floral essence and nutrient complex. Each of the bottles are dinky, but you get enough to know you love it and that you will cry when you get to the end and you can’t afford more.

The star for me is the serum. The consistency is just beautiful. Thicker than a serum I have used before it soaks in like a dream and leaves your skin soft and glowing. The fragrance is a weird one in all the products, herbally as you would expect, not unpleasant, but not a fragrance you will go mad for, but then again it is minus all the synthetic smells so that is more important.

My second favourite is the mask, hand on heart after use I had the softest skin I have ever had, I was literally stroking my face like a weirdo, even the next morning it was still so soft, the beauty of these products is they all compliment each other and leave you with soft, smooth and clear skin.

Another joy is the Regenerating cleanser. This also exfoliates as it cleanses and the little scrubby particles really do leave your skin fresh. The Nutrient complex is a good little oil that soothes and calms skin and gives it a boost. I want more but the 30ml bottle is £95!!maybe I could rob a bank. Let’s face it I love the whole kit. All of the products are great.

The line is full of all good ingredients such as rosehip and aloe and vitamins and essential oils. Free of parabens and fillers and nasty synthetic garbage, you know that you are only putting good things onto your skin.

If you want to try my kit then head over to Cult Beauty here. But be warned you will be hooked!!.

Have you tried Tata Harper?? What do you think??. Leave a comment…

Skincare can be so expensive but if it does the job it’s worth every penny! I agree with the packaging – they could have done a better job but the line sounds fantastic 🙂

Wow it is a bit pricey, but then think of how long it lasts and how many uses you get from it and divide that by the cost, not that I am in anyway trying to help you justify a re-purchase x
