The best facial wipes??

Face and Body September 25, 2013 Naomi

Today I am going to be chatting about the ‘Nivea visage pure and natural facial wipes’.

Face wipes are the lazy girls makeup cleanser of choice, so I am already sold on the idea!!. Joking aside they are not meant to be a everyday way of removing your makeup, more a quick fix ,or to use as a first step to get rid of the first few layers of  foundation etc and then to go on to a thorough cleanse.

It tells us on the packet that the Nivea wipes are free from parabens, silicones, colourants, mineral oils and alcohol. So far so good. Suitable for sensitive eyes they remove waterproof mascara and tone and hydrate. The ingredients are 95% natural and they contain Argan oil and Aloe vera.

Now for my findings. I do on occasion wear a waterproof mascara and I have not had any trouble removing it with these wipes. I am not a massive wearer of foundation or a heavy makeup preferring my Dr Jart BB cream, but I have found for my purposes they work very well at removing every scrap of makeup and leaving my skin very clean. One thing I will say is that I am surprised by how fragranced they are for a ‘natural’ product, I would have thought they would have a light fresh smell  but they actually smell quite strong.

I have combination skin with the odd spot but I have not had any break outs from using the wipes. reverting back to when I mentioned you could use them on the eyes they are very gentle, and even if you rub the eyes a little heavy handed{naughty I know} they will not make them sting.

At around £3 to buy they are a utter bargain when you want something quick and easy to remove your makeup, but you don’t want to pay the redonkulous price tag that some face wipes can charge. For example the ‘ole Henriksen’ face wipes are £15! they better be the best face wipes in the world for that price tag.

Have you tried the Nivea visage Facial wipes?? leave a comment, And if you leave a blog link I will check it out!!.
