Using up my Sample sizes

Face and Body May 20, 2016 Naomi

If you are a beauty blogger then you probably open a cupboard and at least ten product samples fall on you. I have samples all over the place, beauty boxes, stuff sent to you, freebies, magazine gifts, it all mounts up.

I do love a sample size, for a start you usually get a generous amount, plus you get to try before you buy to see if you like. A lot of my big purchases have started off as a sample first.

There does come a time though when you end up with loads so I thought I would make a dent on my stash and use a few up. I am currently trying out the..

Bliss body butter. This smells of fresh grapefruit! I am a big fan of fruity scents, this is a perfect summer fragrance, great for just after the bath. It is very hydrating and you do get that lovely grapefruit smell ages after you have applied it. This will definitely be a re-purchase. I like this on my dry legs, think crocodile hide and you may be on the right track. This leaves them silky and soft.

L’occitane almond shower oil Words cannot express how much I love this. If you read my blog you will know I have reviewed this before and raved about it. The consictency is of an oil but it turns into a milk with water, fab for shaving your legs and just hydrating in general it smells so lovely I regularly sniff myself after use{not weird at all} Great for my eczema prone skin it is one of my most purchased items.

Elemis pro collagen marine cream My favourite beauty brand of all time, my dream is to live at the Elemis spa with Tom Hiddleston and a life time supply of Prosecco and chocolate. But here in the real world this is one of the best facial moisturisers for more mature skins with fine lines and the dreaded W word that I won’t mention. Sinks in really well and is great before makeup.

Caudalie micellar water Everybody in the world now does a micellar water, you can get them all over the place. Gone are the days were you had to ship Bioderma in from Paris and pay a small fortune. Caudalie are a great brand, I think as micellar waters go this is now one of my favourites, the smell of grape is typical caudalie and it is very refreshing on the skin. Another great one for summer, you can chill it in the fridge and then use it after a hot day in the sun{Not in the uk obvs} all over the face. Removes all makeup it is great as a first cleanse.

I’ve never used mini bottles of products before, I’ve not been abroad for over 10 years so I’ve never had to buy them, but I think its a great way to try a new product before spending more money on a bigger bottle and not using it if you don’t like it x

Sometimes I do like minis like for mascaras or a lipstick but I find them too small for things like creams, lotions etc so I hardly ever use them.
